Only A Memory

Dying is ever so close to being realized.
Unrelenting mortality welcomes untimely demise.
JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES!

Razor blade beside you,
pull the curtains back.
Place the blade upon your shaking flesh
Now slice open your veins.
Never more to engage in pain.

Where is the time of grace.
Open your broken eyes,
a child gone forever,
such a loss regret...
you've welcomed this experience.

You try to realize shattered dreams gone.
Lost cause just a shameful remorse,
what is dead can't live again
you become only a memory.
